For venues
You know that awkward lull between the breakfast rush and lunch? We know people who'd love to fill it. They'll buy coffee. They'll order lunch. They might even become regulars.
The deal
We know. You've probably had someone nurse a single espresso for four hours while hogging your best table. These aren't those people.
Keld is full of remote workers looking for somewhere to work that isn't their kitchen table. They want good wifi, decent coffee, and a place that doesn't mind them staying a while. In return, they'll buy things. Regularly.
We're not asking you to become a co-working space. We're asking if you'd like more people through the door during the times you're already quiet.
What you get
Your quiet hours, filled. That Tuesday 10am silence? Remote workers love it. Your slowest hours are their favourite hours.
Regulars, not randoms. Freelancers are creatures of habit. Find a good spot, keep coming back. Your barista will know their order within a fortnight.
They buy things. Coffee. Lunch. Maybe a cheeky pastry at 3pm. They're working, not waiting for a bus.
Who we're looking for
We're not trying to list every coffee shop in the city. We want the places people genuinely want to work from. The ones with good light, comfortable seating, and staff who don't treat a laptop like a personal insult.
The basics:
How it works
First, you tell us about your place. What kind of space, when you're quiet, what makes it good for working. Takes five minutes.
Then we add you to Keld. You show up for remote workers nearby. They can see what you offer and check in when they arrive.
Then new faces walk through your door. They buy coffee. They buy lunch. Maybe they tell their freelancer friends. Maybe they come back tomorrow.
You're probably wondering
We're still figuring out the right model. For early partners, we're focused on making it work for both sides before worrying about money. No hidden fees. No awkward contract conversations.
Nope. Some places offer a small perk (a discount, a free refill). Others just offer a good place to work. Both work fine.
Our lot know the deal. You're a business, not a library. If someone's taking the mick, let us know.
Completely. You set your "work-friendly hours." Busy Friday evening? Turn it off. Dead Tuesday morning? Open the gates.
We're launching in Manchester first. If you run the kind of place people love to work from, we'd love to talk. No pitch. Just a chat about whether this makes sense for you.
Let's talkNo commitment. No awkward follow-ups. Promise.
